La Dolce Cannoli was born from a love of family, heritage, and the art of Italian Pastry. Growing up, Cristina Vivirito Rodriguez spent countless hours in the kitchen watching her grandfather, a master baker from Italy who made everything from scratch. From the perfect cannoli shells to hand-candied orange peels.

He has been featured in Edible LA magazine and the LA Times for his pastries and baking, and continues to volunteer at Garibaldina Society, the oldest and most acclaimed supper club in town. His dedication to the craft began in childhood in Italy and continues to inspire the flavors and techniques used at La Dolce Cannoli.

Now, his granddaughter has decided to carry forward this legacy by partnering with Desiree Ruiz, a friend who has extensive experience in the event industry. Together, they left the corporate world to bring La Dolce Cannoli to weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations, combining deep pastry craftmanship with elevated event expertise. Every cannoli is freshly filled to order, crafted with care, and inspired by the authentic flavors of Italy. Partnering with Italian artisans, including a Ricotta cheese maker who brought his family's tradition to the United States, La Dolce Cannoli merges old-world tradition with modern luxury.
